Hakashi Japanese Sushi Bar & Grill

Really fresh and delicious sushi! We ordered 7 rolls and an appetizer and each item was better than the last! Location of the restaurant is a tad odd, but the food is amazing.
The hot sake was also amazing and highly recommended.

DELICIOUS. Came in close to closing so there were some out of stock items and it was a busy time. There was only one sushi chef so rolls were slow to come out. The waiters were so friendly and very communicative of wait times. Open til 11pm so it's nice for a late night no-rush sushi dinner, though if you do have somewhere to be you might not get your food in time. The sushi is delicious and beautiful to boot.

They had some pretty strongly flavored and delicious Uni from Hokkaido! Definitely tasted not fresh and frozen, but I suppose that’s understandable.
We went on a Friday for lunch, as soon as they opened at 11.30am. The ambience was surprisingly happening - loud pop music, and gosh this place filled up quickly within a few minutes of opening. That was surprising to me, since there was no line before they opened.
I also had the dragon roll, which had good quality fish. And highly recommend their yuzu lemon cocktail, it tasted like a tingle of freshness.
Their veggie sushi was ok, interesting due to the mushrooms but I think nothing to write home about.

This is by far the best Sushi bar that I have ever visited. Such a vibrant environment with top quality dishes!

I came here for an event, and it was priced at 150 for omakase. A good number of people at the event were long time followers of the chef and had only good things to say about him. In fact they mentioned it's even better when you're able to come to this place out of an event as the chef typically likes to get to know you and your tastes. Every thing that I ate was quite good, I definitely liked some more than others but in no way was anything bad (or even okay). They have a large selection of sake and drinks to choose from and I also heard that recently got a lot of new inventory. Overall I would recommend the place, and to those who haven't gone I recommend sitting at the bar!
