Boudin Sourdough on the pier in CA offers a delightful experience with their iconic sourdough bread. The waterfront location adds to the ambiance, providing a scenic backdrop for enjoying their menu, which includes a variety of sandwiches, soups, and bakery items. The sourdough itself is a highlight, known for its unique flavor and texture. Overall, it's a great spot for a taste of San Francisco's sourdough tradition by the waterfront.

It’s one of the places you have to go in San Francisco, we went to the one at Pier 39 and there’s another one that I think it’s the main Bakery a few blocks away by Fisherman’s Wharf. The clam chowder, the beef Chili and the Crab chowder were great but the bread didn’t told me anything.. it’s nothing out of the extraordinary and at the end it’s more bread than soup/cream, you end throwing away almost the whole bread. But like I said it’s an experience that has to be done but I definitely not coming back and plus… you can eat the clam chowder soup/cream almost every where at San Francisco.

The taste is okay, the bread is delicious, and the reputation is getting bigger, and the price is the same, but the amount of soup keeps decreasing. It's a clam chowder restaurant that represents San Francisco in its own way, so I recommend you to visit it at least once. But I am going to get from here only bread and baguette

This is the cutest little location on the Wharf at Pier 39! It can get so busy! They have outdoor seating and inside seating. The contactless ordering as opposed to waiting in the long line is a time and life saver! I ordered the Rustic Tomato soup paired with half a grilled cheese. Yum! They were perfection! The soup was so delicious and warmed me up o na cool fall day by the ocean. I should have ordered a drink!
