Cafe Madeleine

I adore this restaurant a lot. It has a different air. The cuisine is great. the service is dynamic and the personel is polite. The price is satisfactory. I highly recommend.

The menu and service were beyond my expectations. I surely liked the environment of this place. Fantastic place to take the family out for dinner.

Nice spot and if I was only reviewing the baking portion of my order than it would be 5 stars, they have very good sweets and treats. I did order the ham sandwich, it was not bad but it was also nothing to write home about. Smaler portion than I expected and the bread was overcooked and way too crunchy. I want crunch but I also want to be able to taste the food while I eat it, because it was overcooked I spent too much time trying to chew my way through the bread to really enjoy what was probably a tasty treat. I might try them again on the savory side but I will be back for the sweet treats that was great!

I always end up with the most delicious meals from here. They're super reasonably priced for the financial district and if you feel like treating yourself to a Monday dessert for lunch, they're heaven.

They don't have a huge selection or menu but what they do have is fancy, tasty, elegant and expensive.
I decided to get three things today. I got the mocha (which I had remembered from coming here a long time ago was very rich and tasty). I also got a kale, avacado and tomato salad which looked appealing and surprised me with how flavorful it was. I also a chicken and artichoke sandwich that was quite good as well. This place is a bit more pricey (even for SOMA standards) but the quality certainly was appropriate for the price and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
