Chez Maman West

Love the salads, crepes, and Apple dessert. I've been to this location a few times, and it never fails to impress me. The service is warm and attentive. Also enjoy sitting outside when the weather is nice out. Only down side is that they don't take reservations, so I would only go when I don't mind waiting for a table (it's totally worth the wait!).

Came here because my friend and I were craving mussels. We came and got seated immediately. It's a pretty small place, but with a decent amount of tables. We ordered the ceasar salad, mussels, and mushroom fettuccine. The ambience was nice and romantic inside, a cute place for a date!

The food came out shortly. The caesar salad was great to share and came with anchovies. The pasta and mussels came soon after and was amazing. We used the free bread to eat with the mussels. The sauce tasted great with it. The mushroom sauce with the pasta was great too.

The mussels definitely satisfied our craving and we plan to come back. They have other mussel varieties that we plan to try in the future.

Perfect little French restaurant in the heart of Hayes Valley. The food was superb and the service, even better. The French woman who sat us and took our order was charming and personable throughout our meal and as we waited. The wine was affordable and the dishes were delicious. I will be back!

This neighborhood corner restaurant is cozy and inviting. Amazingly, the hostess/waitress took our orders by memory. The classic French onion soup was a winner.

Perfect food. We love this place. My boyfriend is French and he says it's makes him feel like he's home. Service is great as well!
Two things worth mentioning:
I personally feel the desserts are too sweet, and the Chocolate Fondant was not hot enough.
