The place is very cute. The food is ok. As someone from the south craving some good down home cooking this didn't quite make the cut. I had the fried chicken with the Cajun jambalaya rice and collard greens as my sides. Best thing on my plate was the collard greens. Everything else was good but not great.
Very nice little spot with excellent creole food. We had the seafood gumbo, blackened chicken jambalaya, river fish and more. Everything was cooked to perfection 🤩
Excellent restaurant. I tried the cornbreaded catfish with jambalaya and mashed potatoes. I also recommend the corn hush puppies. The food was amazing. The place has an interesting floor plan. Cool atmosphere. Would fly again.
This spot had been on my bucket list for quite a while and I finally got a chance to check it out! First of all, major props to the owner, Edwin who I had the pleasure of meeting first hand. He was incredibly hospitable and warm as well as attentive to not only me but the other guests in the restaurant. He was also always on top of reservations and cleaning while making sure our orders were out in a timely Manor, and helping with customer's needs & accommodations. The food was amazing, I had Hush Puppies and Crawfish & Shrimp étuoffee. Which definitely satisfied my craving for creole food i had been having for a while. The ambiance is very clean and laid back, it almost hurt having to leave. ( could've also been everything I had ate ) But I can't wait to comeback and share it with friends and family. And those beignets are to die for. 😋
Truly authentic and fantastic Cajun cousine. The mushroom Jambalaya is the best. Pillowy soft mushroom, complex and flavorful sauce reduction, and pleasantly crumbly corn bread. Pudding is great too.
We were there in December and the restaurant was warmly decorated with Christmas ornaments --- feels like a cottage inn. Warm and lovely service too.
The woman I was with, a delight.
