limited menu compared to "Dumpling Time" but everything was great!
I will not order the eggrolls nor the shrimp paste donut again. The filling in the eggroll was just a bunch of unknown mushy stuff. The donut is to be eaten with soup and not by itself. The xlb was good.
My comment on this place is basically how I feel about Din Tai Lung; That's fine but of course, there are better places that I think don't just market yourself besides dumplings. There are places like this place without fancy decor and hipster decor - but if you want to pay for it then oh my guest. The service is great.
I love their niku udon, it’s very flavorful but more on the rich side. The signature udon is a little too plain for me. The curry udon is good too but could feel a little heavy.
Shrimp toast is bomb.
The tom yum xiao long bao are my favorite.
The seafood gyozas are bomb.
Snap peas are yummy too.
