    My husband and I stopped in after seeing a theatre show. We were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. It is not your typical greasey Mexican burrito food. More authentic Mexican flavors. We both had an agave Margarita whIch was very good. I had the sopes with carnitas and conchinita pinil. He had the chicken taquitos. Everything, including the three salsas, was very tasty. Being so late at night (10:30 pm) the food was fresh and came hot. Will definitely return.

    I've been going here for years and it is my absolute favorite for great inexpensive Mexican food. Super burritos and flour tostadas are my "go to" comfort foods and I measure all similar restaurants by the standard set at Estrella. The staff is always helpful and very pleasant. Don't hesitate to go and enjoy!

    I had an amazing at this spot. We enjoyed the nice vibes and the food. The staff were super affable. I am glad we ultimately decided to visit this spot.

    Best taco place in the lower Haight. They have the closest thing to Berto's style crispy tacos that I've seen in SF. Good value night eatery.
