Gentilly

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, Cajun fries, and a Frozen Irish to go tonight and it was fantastic! The bun was perfectly charred and the chicken was tender with a good crisp batter! If you’re looking to satisfy your craving for great southern cuisine you should try Gentilly SF!

An excellent and welcome addition to the Excelsior. Been 4 times, would recommend everything we ordered. Don't miss the Brussels, the Po Boy, or the Chicken. Brunch was also great!

Great new place on mission in the excelsior with a New Orleans flair. Plane looks great, good is killer, especially wings, Cajun dishes and beignets. (Dine in the back it's kid friendly, but not kid dominant)

The food is delicious! Everyone that I had brunch with said their food exceeded their expectations and was so amazing. I used to come to Doctors Lounge and the way they transformed the interior to match the New Orleans theme is extremely well done. I hope to see this place thrive, especially since there are very few other options in this neighborhood.

Great new Brunch spot for the neighborhood. Friendly service, beautiful interior, great variety in menu items. Got the croque madam and a brunch bramble cocktail, both items were delicious and worth every penny. Definitely will go back to try the rest of the menu and would enthusiastically invite others to check it out.
