Metro Caffe

I was introduced to the Metro Caffe a few years ago and have always gotten it when I'm there. The addition of a fried Metro Caffe mushroom is GENIUS. It's truly makes the burger something special.

I really like this place, love the atmosphere. It really is a toss up between here and Carny's for best hot dogs. Although I always get a spicy polish. Not really into the other "special dogs they offer. My son and I come at least 2 times a year after a late show or concert. I wish they would add a soda fountain, but otherwise pretty damn good.

I've been here quite a few times and the cheesesteaks are solid. The cheese tots are really good, and I'd recommend getting the large since you get a lot more for just one extra dollar.

My only knocks on the place is that onions and peppers aren't standard with every cheesesteak, and I had a couple experiences where the cheesesteak was a bit dry.

This is a hole in the wall restaurant. Great for a quick bite. Very clean and pleasant space. I had an original cheese steak which was pretty good although not amazing.
