AMAZING brunch. The fried chicken and waffle was so crunchy and flavorful and delicious. The cinnamon butter was the cherry on top. The cocktails were also great (although on the weaker side). One of the top brunch places I’ve been to, in terms of flavor. Also had classy interior design. A must try if you’re looking for a brunch spot!
MUST GO. Got a table Thursday night with no prior reservations, but probably a good idea to make rez because most tables were occupied for their dinner service. Our server was really sweet and checked in often. We started off with cocktails, followed by the pull apart spinach dip bread and fries. I was expecting a regular dip with a side of bread but highly recommend this take on it - unique and very tasty. Fries were perfectly seasoned but dare I say the quantity could have been more (I guess there can never be enough fries). For entrees, my friend and I shared the vegetarian ratatouille and my fiancé got the burger. Portions were great and I would come back for the ratatouille. Clearly their bartenders and chefs are very good. The vibe is loungey, classy, vibes all at once. Great spot!
Edit: On my next visit went for brunch. My friend liked the fried chicken and waffle. The cold brew martini and Bloody Mary both were very good. Unfortunately, three people in our group including me ordered the vegetarian hash which comes with poached eggs and none of our eggs were poached correctly. We had to send it back and they replaced it, but the wait was definitely disappointing. Our side order of toast also did not come out with our entrees. Looks like they’re still figuring out their brunch, I’d come back to try other items because it was a beautiful spot outside with a brunch vibe and service was friendly.
I admit we did not get a chance to sit down this Saturday afternoon visit as we passed by catching our muni J train, but even witnessing the drag brunch performers from the sidelines of the sidewalk had us opening our wallets to tip the hard working performers. Juanita Williams(?) had a delightful music choice with an elegant vocal for her lip sync in her elegant outfit. Crystal Chandelier was epic in the Britney Medley that followed, including a phenomenal Death Drop move on the concrete sidewalk(!!) during Toxic. We need to go back and eat and sit for the whole show sometime.
We DIG Mr. Digby’s!! Had an awesome brunch here. The drinks were top notch! 👌The mini french toast sticks were somehow infused to be even more delicious than anticipated. And the fried chicken and waffles were perfection and such a creative twist on the flavors (that ginger whipped butter though!) 🤤
We will definitely be back again!
Good service. Good entrees. Liked the appetizers. Beef tartare presentation was good and flavors fresh. Baked oysters off the specials menu behind the bar could have been heated more as the cheese was still firm. Trout was good with the caper butter. Portions were smaller for our liking. The pork chop was moist with a good sweet sauce. The roasted cabbage that came along was cooked well with good char.
