A welcome addition to the neighborhood! The owner is friendly and professional with his work, evident in the quality preparation of the meal. I'm looking forward to making this a regular go-to!

My first order from here was great. I had the chirashi bowl: generous sashimi portions of 3 different fish plus ikura, along with pickled radish. The quality of fish and rice were both solid. The chirashi is accompanied by an 8oz cup of homemade miso soup w tofu and wakame - a good value overall! The Philly and negimaki rolls were neat and filling, thanks to a slightly higher rice ratio than some other places (though not overwhelmingly so. ) The owner was friendly as he carefully packing my food when I arrived to pick it up.

Oishinbo is in the former Palmetto space on Clement, so it's a small clean and bright space with no dine-in. Order in store or via their website.

Counter sushi, take it out and eat it outside in the beautiful wooden parklet right out front. Tried the basics, makis and salmon and tuna sashimi. Fish was fresh, sliced to appropriate thickness. Only complaint is the wasted plastic containers (can you move to compostables?) and the maki was not fully sealed. Otherwise, fresh and lovely classic flavor.

New made to order Japanese sushi to-go spot on Clement street. Super fast, high-quality, legit Japanese owned, good deal. Miso soup only one dollar. The winner for us today was a California hand roll with a generous portion of real snow crab. Will definitely come back here when we're looking for a lighter to go lunch.

We got 2 hand rolls and they were pretty good. Nice place to snack or have quick bite
