Great pizza! So tasty! Plus a large list of what can be added to the slice!
One slice of cheese was big and tasty! There was only one gentleman working so he was pretty busy, but kept on top of communicating with customers. About 10min wait which seems reasonable to me at lunchtime with one worker for oven/register/toppings prep
The nicest guy behind the counter that you'll ever meet. Got me my pizza fast and the pizza was good at a great price! Pizza by the slice, $4 for a large slice of cheese, which is solid for SF. Really enjoyed my meal here, it's a big fluffy slice with thick cheese and a nice crispy crust, folds nicely. Excellent food and excellent/fast service.
Super nice people and delicious pizza! I ordered 2 XL pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni) for a group of teens. Most of them asked me not to get pizzas from Giorgio's, so I found this place. They loved it and said it wasn't greasy and liked the (regular) crust a lot. The crust was so perfectly chewy and the ingredients just right. Solid, delicious, pizza. Can't wait to go back and try some more adventurous toppings on thin crust for myself!
Update: Enticed by the sign stating that you can order a slice of cheese pizza for $3 and pepperoni pizza for $3.50, I came here again. The service was fast and the pizza was hot and I was able to use Google Pay to pay. The pizza is in fact pretty good, and so was the service. However, I'm not going to give five stars because of the onion rings. I wish I could rate things separately. Pizza: 4/5 stars. Service: 5/5 stars. Location: 5/5 stars. Service: 5/5 stars. Onion rings: 1/5 stars. Also, the cheesecake is pretty good but they give you a really small slice for $5. Cheesecake: 4/5 stars.
Original Review:
I'm sure the pizza is good, but I came to this pizzeria for onion rings. I love onion rings. Now, while onion rings aren't this place's specialty, I believe that good dishes should be accompanied by good sides. This place has horrible onion rings, slightly worse than Burger King's onion rings two blocks away. For $5, you get half an onion's worth of rings, breaded in what seems to be just flour, and put on old lettuce for some reason. Onion rings are not fancy food, so don't try to make them look fancier by putting them on lettuce. I couldn't taste any seasoning on the onion rings, not even salt. The bland onion rings come with ranch which you really need to make the onion rings have any flavor. Now, on the bright side, the onion rings were piping hot. If you want pizza, by all means, try Sabrosa Pizza but do not order the onion rings.
