Sons & Daughters is far and away the most incredible and memorable dining experience I've ever had - all 8 times :) !!
My (now) fiancé and I visited Sons & Daughters for the first time early last year, unbeknownst to us, shortly after Chef Harrison assumed position as Executive Chef. We were blown away by the food, staff, service and quite literally everything about the dinner.
The ambience is stunning. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable / kind / welcoming. The food is decadent and truly other worldly. The service is nothing short of perfection. The dishware is custom-made, unique to every dish and pure works of art.
Chef Harrison and his staff consistently create new and exciting twists to the menu. The menu changes quarterly with modifications in between based on what's in season, available, etc. The chefs and staff take the time to eloquently describe each dish & give you insight into the inspiration, ingredients and all around profile before diving into the magic that is that first bite.
David, the house sommelier, is a true expert and hand picks each wine for the tasting menu, perfectly complementing each dish and bringing out the variety of flavors in the food and wine.
George, General Manager, Patrick & Jason ensure you're taken care of and attended to every step of the way. (Note I could go on about every single person who works at Sons & Daughters.. but fingers are getting tired!)
I recommend this restaurant to everyone (prompted or not) - colleagues, friends, family, clients. I can't say enough good things and have been grateful for Chef Harrison and his staff for always warmly welcoming us back and making each time a unique and special / memorable experience.
Have you ever eaten a meal that made you want to cry? Have you experienced a meal that could only be described as “exquisite.” Not delicious or great, just exquisite. My wife and ate at Sons and Daughters on Valentines Day, and this was an experience that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. I took more videos than photos, so I wish that I could show you all every dish. But let me finish with this: the experience was so out of this world, I actually did not want to eat on the following day. I wanted to hold on to that memory for as long as I could. Thank you Sons & Daughters for implanting this memory in our minds forever. I wish that I had more stars to give.
Chef Harrison and the Sons & Daughters team are on a different level! This is hands down the best dining experience in San Francisco. We've been back 7 times in the last year since Chef Harrison took the reins and every time they've reinvented something new and brilliant on the menu. If you haven't been here in the last year you are frankly missing out!
The unique flavors, attention to detail, and welcoming nature of the entire staff make this an unmatched experience. Better than any 2 or 3 Michelin star restaurant I've been to - this is truly underrated with only 1 Michelin star! I trust they will only grow their following under Chef Harrison, 2023's Michelin Best Young Chef in California winner.
Sons & Daughters delivers an impressive dining experience. The atmosphere strikes a balance between sophistication and comfort, creating a pleasant setting. The food is outstanding, with each dish surpassing the last in terms of creativity and taste.
The service is top-notch, featuring a professional and friendly staff that enhances the overall dining experience. The consistency in quality both times I have visited is commendable.
The menu, a fusion of Nordic and California influences, brings forth dishes that celebrate the beauty of natural flavors. The commitment to sourcing premium ingredients is evident in every bite, reinforcing the restaurant's dedication to providing a culinary journey that honors the bounties of nature.
A notable aspect is the non-alcoholic pairing, where each drink is carefully crafted to complement the flavors of the corresponding dish. This thoughtful touch adds a unique dimension to the meal.
Kudos to Chef Harrison, George, David, and the entire culinary team for their mastery and dedication. Their expertise shines through in every dish, making the dining experience truly exceptional.
This place is a solid choice for those seeking a high-quality dining experience. I would gladly return and recommend it to others looking for a satisfying and well-executed culinary adventure.

An absolutely beautiful dining experience. The restaurant is lovely with a simple yet elegant setup. The fireplace sets a relaxed and romantic mood. The open kitchen gives a glimpse into the preparation of the dishes. The chefs work diligently and purposefully to prepare dishes that look as great as they taste.
The service is top tier as each and every detail is thought-out and executed wonderfully. It was great to have the chefs deliver and talk about the preparation of the courses. You can tell that there is passion in every detail of the meal. From the plates to the flatware everything was purposefully done and it shows.
The food was wonderful. The combination of flavors and the sustainable approach were highlighted throughout the meal. We had a great time and highly recommend trying it.
