This is a cute little Italian pizzeria. The service was quick and excellent. The Mountain pizza was pretty good, just a tad undercooked and the peppers and onions could have been done a little more. The flavor was fantastic though. It’s also right on the cable car line for easy transportation access. Also close to Chinatown.
Uncle Vito's was my favourite evening meal in
SF by a long mile. It may not seem much upon arrival but the food tasted incredible.
We shared the fettuccine Siena pasta and the mountain pizza. All the food was SO delicious!! I could not recommend this restaurant any more. It was really fairly priced for the quality we were served. Very friendly service too.
Out of our 4 nights in San Francisco, 3 dinners were spent here. It was so cozy, the atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing!
I can never make my mind up, so the staff very generously helped me out. Pizzas fantastic and so is the pasta! Fast service, but not too fast where you wonder if they've microwaved it. (They most certainly didn't)
It’s a decent pizza but the crust is a little soft and not not crispy like some would prefer. We have the Greek pizza which was very salty overall but that might be normal for that style of pizza. They seem to have a big rush around the normal eating times but people still line up and wait it out. Over all the place was full of energy in the visible kitchen, but it’s not loud. Some interesting art on the walls too.
