“Marla's is a small cafe that serves great coffees, tea(s) and an assortment of delicious items. We discovered Marla Bakery on a weekend trip to San Francisco. I was craving some good coffee and a treat. We went to the RIGHT PLACE. I ordered coffee with a sticky-bun. It was their "last one". I immediately knew why they were so popular! It was absolutely the BEST STICKY BUN I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! Beyond WORDS... my highest recommendation!”

“Everything was delicious but was a little cold. The flavor was incredible though and easily some of the best dim sum I have had yet. And of course, it's so so cheap. Got 11 items for around 8$.”

“Really nice sandwich shop. Nice bread and awesome homemade sauce. the sandwiches are filled with toppings. The soup here even good too. The price is pretty good for the amount of food you are getting. there are a lot of variety to choose from too. I would give it a try.”

“This Kosher bakery is very clean and the staff are friendly. This morning I tried the large mushroom pastry, it's very delicious. The dough is soft and fresh, it has a very special favor. I know they also have different donuts, chickpea pockets, pastries, and many more that other places don't have. I need to try them all.”

“Soup (or salad) and fresh, hot buns served with entrees. We ordered the baked pork chop over tomato sauce and baked seafood. I preferred the pork chop; fried and cooked well. The sauce was fairly sweeter than expected but still tasty! Baked seafood had good mix of fresh tasting seafood (squid, mussels, shrimp, scallops)... but the béchamel was heavier than Arnold.”

“Stopped here after taking the ferry across before a Goants game to get some food. The prices were great and the food was amazing. My boyfriend got the sourdough pizza and I got the clam chowder in a bread bowl. After lunch we couldn't help but buy some fresh bread to snack on during the baseball game. The staff was friendly and very happy to help us in any way they could. I will definitely be returning in the future!”

“I live close to Posh Bagel and come here often. It's a great place to get breakfast to go in a pinch. Their bagel sandwiches are really good! I get the egg bagels or the lox bagels and you can customize it as you'd like. The staff has always been quick and courteous with me. The coffee is not amazing but it gets the job done.”

“Exceptional little spot in the Sunset, and a great value too! Four of us ate well for $40, unheard of in the city. Pancakes are obviously their big ticket items, and I can’t recommend them enough. The beef pancakes were incredible. Also don’t forget the hand-pulled noodles! If you’re in the area, pop in. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

“85c Bakery has been in the Bay Area awhile, but when they finally opened in my neck of the woods, I had to partake the baked goods. This location in Stonestown Galleria is smaller only in the seating area, for their bounty of buns is not wanting. They seem to bake all day and constantly bring out freshly baked morsels to the multiple shelves. This bakery is self serve so a patron would take a tray and a pair of tongs. I recommend lining the tray with wax paper which is also provided. The assorted buns come savory and sweet. Once chosen, patrons stand in line to pay. The cashier uses tongs to put the buns in plastic bags or a box. At the cashier register you may order drinks. They serve hot and cold teas and coffees.”

“Decent place to stop for ice cream, however they have a very limited selection of frozen yogurts. If you want a healthier choice over stand ice cream... Go with a smoothie. The Queen of Tart smoothie is really good.”

“This famous bakery and café in the heart of San Francisco at Fisherman’s Wharf is always busy. Clam chowder in sourdough bread is a-must when visiting the Bay Area. People in long queue waiting patiently to get delicious clam chowder, sandwiches and soups. Always worth the long waiting though always crowded with lots of tourists. They also sell other stuffs. The shop has unique items for household and souvenirs you can get but quite pricey. They have take-out counter for freshly baked breads available daily. Hard to get a table though, especially during peak month season. During summer they have seats outside but always crowded. You got to have patience coming here staying in long queue to get something delicious, always worth it!”

“Very good milk tea. Small venue without much room to hang out but both flavors of tea I had we're very good (high mountain and brown sugar). They allow you to adjust sweetness levels as well.”

“Love this restaurant for lunch. They make the best soups and sandwiches. There are always soup options - I picked the barley soup. It's quite a large bowl, so you are left feeling satisfied. They give you fresh homemade bread to dip in. It's delicious! I have also tried their vegan sandwich - it's really good and filling. Lots of flavor! They don't have much room indoors to sit, so it's mostly outdoor seating. On a beautiful day, it's perfect. They are normally busy but I have never had a hard time getting a place to sit.”

“Must check out place if you are in the neighborhood. I have been going to this place since they first open here. Fruity scones and berry coffee cakes are delicious. Bran muffin is not every one’s fave but they make it good if you want to be a little bit more healthy and splurge. Full splurge on sugar then have to go with the pecan bun! Their pizza too- delicious and such a good deal.”

“Wooow things here are so cheap to be in San Francisco, and they're so good, I bought a old fashioned chocolate glazed donut and almost cried because it was so far from home, and that one, was the best donuts ever. My sister loved ther vegan donut with hummus and I was impressed it was so good too. Welcoming employees, they are really nice and have lot of options on their menu.”
