“This place is such a gem. I have been getting lunch from this spot for a couple years since I moved into the area, always appreciating their working class prices and variety of specials for lunch. But ever since I had their knock-your-socks-off pumpkin pie (not even a big pumpkin pie fan), I started to give their cakes more of a go. Now I always volunteer to be the person to bring the cake to the birthday parties and everyone is always delighted. This is a feel good business to support. I hope they continue to do what they do for a long time to come.”

“Delicious cafe that's a must try! Love it's part of the new community center. Various seating available with tables, couches, and long table for cafe laptop friendly working with free wifi. Everything I've tried so far has been really tasty! The Salmon open face toast was one of the best I've ever had, the chickpea confit was flavorful, and the drink elixirs like pomegranate mint are good!”

“Highly recommend this place and so happy for the neighborhood for adding on a new cuisine! The arepas were authentic that brought back so many good Colombia memories! The beef empanadas was so delicious- thin crust with tasty filling! I can’t wait to try out the other items on the menu. They also have a catering arm of the business. All their stuff look so pretty. I can’t wait to try out more menu items in the coming weeks!”

“This cute little coffee shop is new to the Outer Richmond, as in within the last couple days and I highly recommend stopping in. The owner is the nicest man, and his staff are also incredibly nice. My iced latte is perfection and they have a nice assortment of baked goods. I picked up a chocolate croissant (not pictured because I ate it too fast) and it hit the spot.”

“I recently used The Grove catering for a work event and it was awesome! One of the best catering services I've used. The food arrived on time, it was perfectly warm, and the spread was absolutely beautiful. It tasted delicious as well! I didn't even know The Grove did catering and wish I'd known earlier. I will definitely use them again.”

“Excellent, professional service but the hamburger, which I ordered medium rare, was the driest, most overdone I've ever eaten. I could have returned it but at over $20 the customer should not be in charge of quality control. But certainly no reason to ever return.”

“French style cafe not to be missed, although the coffee is decent their strong point is the bakery and their impeccable customer service, I was treated very kindly even though my English is not very good. If you like subtle and fruity flavors, the pistachio croissant is a must try (I think that's the name, the green one in the photo), it has red fruit jam inside.”

“Stopped in on a whim and was rewarded with the yummiest lychee gelato! The interior is cozy, fun, and comforting, and the staff was super kind (and of course, let me try a few samples). I highly recommend grabbing a bite and taking it into the park. Thanks for making my Sunday afternoon!”

“Very cute coffee shop that has great coffee. They were extremely busy which goes to show how good their coffee is. I ordered a vanilla latte which had a nice design on top. Wait wasn’t very long despite how many people were there”

“Lulu chicken was tender, nicely flavored with brown rice and macaroni. A good meal and generous portion of chicken. The med wrap had quinoa, cheese (let them know what kind of cheese), definitely vegan with spinach wrap. Great selection of non alcoholic drink. I picked a spritzer $7 raspberry ginger. Saving it for a special occasion. Very chill vibe. Ate in since it was cold and foggy day. Lovely seats outside. Owner is very cool and friendly. The cook really want to know if the food was good or not. The coffee is smooth like butter.”

“Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. Incredible food, excellent service, and a really light and airy space made my first time doing indoor dining in 2021 a great experience. I especially loved that the servers were all speaking French to each other. Felt really authentic! Highly recommend the croissant French toast if you have a sweet tooth - it melts in your mouth. Can’t wait to come back to try their dinner menu.”

“Yes, I saw a few homeless folks, but where don't I anyway. This Bucks was cool and collected, not to mention right next door to one of the top ankle/knee/hip orthopedic surgeons in America, Dr. Kevin Stone. I was in town to see him so I grabbed a double espresso on the way in. Good call....”

“This was the first time I've been to this cafe. At first I was not sure if it would be a great place because of the restaurants around it but once we turned the corner we were surprised how many people and places to sit down there was. Even though there wasn't many options for big meals since it was a brunch place, their breakfast sandwich + "the works" add on is the best! Loving the mix of arugula and egg with a hint of spice. Definitely coming back”

“Man this was good tea! I got the lil giraffe and my sister got the Thai tea. I was unsure of what mine would be like since cake is an ingredient. It’s essentially just cake flavored tea. No weird consistency at all! The cups are bigger than they look so the price isn’t bad either. The straws they used did have a strange taste (they’re a paper variety) so I’d opt for one of their other straw options next time. An older review on Google says they don’t have dairy free options but that isn’t true anymore. Some of the items on the menu do say they can’t be substituted. They have soy, almond, and oat milk though. I wish I was able to get more aesthetic pictures for the review but with COVID they only allow 1 party in at a time so I wanted to grab the tea and get out. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in SF.”

“So I had to write a review about this small chocolate shop. I got 20 chocolates in a small box and we loved each and every one of the truffles. This place did not open till noon so make time to have coffee here and you get a free truffle with each coffee. Ok, the taste of the chocolate is hard to describe although I will say that they were not too sweet so the flavor of each truffle was an experience itself. The spiced truffles were to die for. This place is fabulous and worth taking time to see, visit and eat here before or after you eat.”

“I had no problem there but some dude had a huge problem with them because they didn't have change for his large bill (he wouldn't say if it was $50 or $100). He made a video that's on youtube. He tells viewers the location at the end.”

“The only bad thing about this place is that there was no parking. You would have to park around the corner. The catfish and shrimp Po-Boy was delicious (even though I'm not a seafood person)But I liked it. My two-year-old daughter really liked the chicken tenders they weren't hard and they were really juicy, the beignets are delicious I just wish they had like a bigger option of ordering them, I think it was 3 for around four or five bucks but a bigger option would be great. On top of that they have great customer service the cashier was so helpful answering questions and explaining what specific items were. I would definitely go back.”
