Ramen 101 - Manteca

Only reason this is getting 4 stars, I ordered a spicy black garlic ramen. Everything inside was good, except the chili oil seems to taste like Lao Gan Ma. If you don’t know what this is, it’s a Chinese chili oil that has the numbing taste. The whole ramen dish became a hot pot dish. I recommend people not to order any spicy and just add your own Japanese chili oil. The Lao gan ma sauce just overpowers all broth/meat/noodle taste.

I love a good ramen place, and did not expect to find it in Manteca. Very yum. Small interior, but seems people rotate in and out pretty quickly, we managed to get a table.

Just ate there today, food was excellent and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back. I had the black garlic ramen which was phenomenal. They also have BBQ and vegetarian options though I didn't try any of those this visit.

Excellent! Even with how busy it was and the small space, I didn't feel crowded. Food came out lighting fast. Staff was helpful and friendly. Absolutely worth the price. Will come again!
