“We ordered the pizza. Two different kinds. The mushroom one and the sausage. Both were good but you must be a huge mushroom fan to enjoy the mushroom one. It is also lightly plainer then the sausage. The service was fine. We would have have probably bought more but the server was not really encouraging to try new things. The manager Andrew was very nice and respectful. He was very attentive to our five year old. The restaurant can get quit noisy so do not expect quiet.”

“I was really pleased with the ambiance and the service. The place was comfortable and I chose to eat at the bar. The bartender was really pleasant and made a great cocktail. So I thought I'd try their dry aged burger. And it didn't disappoint. The texture of the meat was good and satisfying. Initially I thought I wouldn't enjoy it as much, because of its simple presentation. No lettuce, tomatoes, things like that. But no complaints here. So worth the try. “Normally would give this restaurant a 5 stars ⭐️ This is mine and my husbands go to place not to mention the manager knows us well and Matt the server is awesome. However this one time was probably the first time we received unsatisfying service. One reason why we chose to eat here today is so we could watch football as it’s football Sunday. We arrived and were told the TVs couldn’t be changed cause the remotes were locked in the office. Contemplated eating there but stayed anyway cause they have amazing food and great service. Ordered our food and asked for tortillas. Was given 1 tortilla between 2 plates. Not enough to feed 2 people. Waitress never came back to ask how we were doing or to even refill our drinks. Very poor service today. It was busy cause of the holiday but that’s still no reason because it’s still your job as a waitress to make sure your tables are taken care of. We will be returning because we love the food but hopefully our next experience will be better.”

“Bird's is definitely a Stockton treasure. The food is very good and the menu offers a wide variety of meat/fish entrees. It is a great place to go for a date night, lunch/dinner with friends and groups can be comfortably seated. Bud's Beef (either the hot entree or the salad is a favorite from the menu. They also serve a tasty shrimp/crab Louie. The wait staff are quick, friendly, accommodating and professional. Just an all-around good dining experience. The Sunday brunches are fantastic! The seating can feel a bit "close" when it's crowded which is why I gave it four stars out of five. If you happen to be placed by a large group, it can be difficult to have a quiet meal there. Otherwise, I highly recommend it for a great meal.”
