We have eaten here too many times to count and have NEVER been disappointed! It is such a treat to have such a great seafood restaurant in Arroyo Grande. The staff is super friendly, right up to the chef/owner. I think our friends are starting to think we're starting a cult because we keep indoctrinating everyone we know. Thank you for keeping our tongues delighted and our bellies stuffed!
first visit here. halibut was so good. the sauce was amazing. my son had the multi tacos and they were so good! My daughter had the shrimp linguine, and she ate almost all of it. My husband had the king, crab legs, and other than not having a side dish. It was also amazing! I really don’t have anything negative to say except for possibly the portion size but honestly I’m totally full so it was perfect. The waiter was so kind and knowledgeable and everyone really seem to enjoy working there.
Had lunch with my wife at BLUE and we loved it. The outdoor patio is sheltered enough to keep you comfortable in any weather. The fish sandwich was amazing and the crab sandwich included a generous amount of crab.
When you enter, glance at the impressive oyster bar.
BLUE restaurant is the perfect date location.
Madison was server, she is very attentive and sweet. We had lunch and it was delicious! My friend had halibut tacos, I had Cajun shrimp tacos. The tacos were beautiful and very tasty with a kick. Key lime pie was wonderful too. Definitely recommend and will come again and again. 5 stars
Tried this place for the first time Easter Sunday. It was soo good!! The staff were so kind and hospitable. Super attentive to whatever we needed. We started with an appetizer of the fried calamari. They were delicious. They come with a marinara and a spicy tartar sauce. Both wonderful.
For entrees, we had the seared scallops and pasta. It's in a creamy, Cajun sauce. Delicious! The scallops were perfectly cooked. Another dish was the special, grilled branzino. My 13 year old boy tried it and he said it ended up being his favorite fish dish. It was grilled with pesto. Served with caramelized carrots and potatoes.
My dad had the cioppino. He loved it.
Dessert. Wow. We had the tres leches cake. Mmmm. The banana creme brulee. Scrumptious. Key lime pie. Beautiful. The key lime wasn't overly tart, but perfect. It was refreshing.
Would definitely be coming back to this wonderful establishment. There are so many other dishes we would love to try.
