    We used to love getting ice cream at Caren's Corner when we lived in Cambria years ago. Although the ice cream is still delicious and the boy helping us was very friendly, the store is filthy. Hopefully the owners make the effort to clean it up. ?

    Cute little ice cream shop we stopped by on the way back from Hearst Castle. There were about 16 different flavors of ice cream as well as some other desserts (fudge, peanut butter cups, truffles, etc.) all homemade. The ice cream was fine but wasn’t that great in terms of quality. It didn’t taste very creamy and tasted more icy and almost watered down rather than flavorful. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but may come back if it’s convenient/on the way.
