Didn’t get to eat here but their bakery is amazing. We picked up a few pastries and some sourdough. But their biscuits and gravy are delicious. The service was great. They were very friendly and helpful. If you are in the area, you must come here. @raulvsfood

Came back for breakfast and it was amazing. The chicken and waffles are so delicious. The chicken is crispy and juicy.

Very pleasantly surprised by The Spoon Trade. Had to wait a little while to get a table on a Sunday morning but it was definitely worth the wait. I got a veggie sandwich which was delicious with some orange juice and bubbles. For dessert we got the pumpkin cheesecake. I don’t like pumpkin but even I found it tasty. The staff are super friendly as well. If you love sourdough, then this is the place for you!

The food is consistently good here. We love it that it's a few blocks from our house, and in such a good location only a few blocks from the beach! The servers and the owners (who personally check in on you) and everyone else who works at the restaurant is professional, friendly, and they do their best to make sure you have a good time. We only went back for the first time recently, because we have been eating out hardly at all since the pandemic began (for me, it's just not worth the risk when I know how to cook myself!). But I didn't feel like I'd put myself in any danger by going to The Spoon Trade last weekend, and it was a nice break from making dinner myself! So thanks to the Spoon Trade for the night off from dinner duty! (It was also great to see prices had gone down!) The tables are outside, well-spaced out, and everyone who works at the restaurant is respectful of your safety and their own. They let you have a good time, but you won't be heading to the hospital afterward! I'm writing this review only because of a bad experience with one of their competitors - who I did feel was putting their clientele at risk in order to turn a profit! And with COVID-19 nowadays, it's not just a gamble where you go out to eat in terms of quality versus price, etc. - it's a super high stakes gamble. You could get very sick, and maybe even end up on a respirator or die, if the restaurant doesn't take care of you! I wish every restaurant would follow the lead of responsible restaurants like this! So, if in doubt (and by that, I mean, locals) or if you're looking for someplace to eat (tourists), give The Spoon Trade a visit!

Delicious food!! So good we went back two days later!

I had the biscuits and vegan gravy which was delicious!! I would say it's much less breakfasty than I'd expected, but great nonetheless. My husband ordered the eggs benedict and fell in love! They had bacon steak and a really rich hollandaise sauce poured over top with their fresh made sourdough. You also HAVE to try their crunchy potatoes! They're delicious by themselves, but to die for dipped in the hollandaise from the benedict!

Unbelievably good! I'd come back here for the benedict alone, but the service is equally amazing! There was never a time we didn't feel taken care of or welcomed. You can't leave here without having a side of crunches, and I highly suggest the Benedict with the bacon steak. This is definitely a go to breakfast/ brunch place when we come back to this area.
