Ada’s Fish House

Ate here once and enjoyed the fish. Have returned twice from out of town, specifically to get a take out from here, only to find it closed before the advertised time. I’m talking 1.5 hours before normal closing time, with other would-be customers arriving at the same time as us. Don’t think we’ll make a special effort again.

Picked up oysters, clam chowder and calamari. 2/3 were beyond reproach. The chowder has moved up to my top 5, as a favorite. The calamari was cooked to the point of tire rubber. However, the customer service received after I called to mention the over cooking was more than sufficient.

Looking forward to a well prepared batch.

The fish n chips was amazingly light and delicious. The fries were fresh homemade. We also had the grilled artichoke which was awesome. Yummy. They offer take out beer as well. The blood orange draft was great. Staff was great and friendly. The place was very clean and attractively decorated for Christmas. We ordered ahead fir pick up and it was ready in 15 minutes.

Had a good chicken sandwich. Came in late; around 9:45pm while they close around 10pm or something, but they were accommodating. We ate outdoors, but they have outdoor heaters to keep you warm, so I thought that was nice. A person on our table sent a dish back- I think the problem was that it was not cooked to his liking, so they quickly brought him a new one.
Overall a good restaurant.

12 ⭐s out of 10! We will definitely be frequenting from now on. Ada's had amazing food, good sized portions, and very friendly staff. We were seated promptly for our reservation on their lovely, cozy patio and immediately attended to. Drinks and food all came out quickly even tho they were definitely busy, we never felt neglected. Drinks were delicious and food was all amazing. We got the banana mai tai ?, shrimp cocktail ?, crab cakes ?, chowder ?, fish and chips? and the oysters rockafeller ?. Everything was so good! I can't wait to go back to try all the other yummy menu items. You definitely need to check this place out but make a reservation!
