Cracked Crab

Very pleased with the service and food quality. I had the king crab dinner and it was perfect. 2 legs that tasted just like how it should over a bed of mashed potatoes and string beans. Plate was well balanced with no over powering flavors. I will definitely come back.

The outdoor seating area was very nice and the heated lamps helped with the draft that came through. The customer service was just as good as the food!! The crab cocktail and bairdi crab dinner was amazing!! The tools and dipping sauces for the crabs and potatoes was definitely a plus. My friend had the clams and she loved them!! The wait was about 45 minutes but we took the opportunity to walk around and browse the local shops. You must eat here if you get a chance; it's worth the wait!!

Great location fairly close to the water! Crisp outdoor seating in the rear patio was very comfortable. Must get the bucket!! They dump it on the table and that is the experience so don't miss it by ordering individually, sharing is encouraged. Crab was great!! All variations are all good of course. Clam chowder was legit, they claimed it to be new England and they delivered. This place is a MUST GO if in Pismo!!

I have never in my life had a dinning experience such as this. Not only was the food amazing, the atmosphere was comfortable and not a 5 star ritzy restaurant feeling. I felt welcomed. The staff was outstanding and extremely involved. They were not overly nice and cheesy about their demeanor but in fact genuinely caring and courteous. They were real people and not some restaurant robot. Even the dish boy was involved and nice. We were helped by Tabitha and she gave us the best dinner we’ve ever had. I highly recommend eating at the Cracked Crab.

Ordered take out and it was excellent. Take out is the only way to go for us!!!!
