Penny's All American Cafe

So the biscuits and gravy here were the type of biscuits and gravy that I like the biscuits are the nice soft normal biscuit everybody gives but their gravy was really high end, it wasn't a cheap gravy, so that was a big bonus. And the portions were really good nice and big I usually eat a lot when I eat out and I was full. Man, the potatoes were cooked perfectly and season perfectly so definitely get the country potatoes when you come. Marked A 4 because the Belgian waffles were not the best they were decent

Our first visit to Penny's All American Cafe was great! Loved the outdoor seating with the aroma of coffee and bacon in the foggy mist! My husband got the fresh blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. They were delish! Lots of fresh blueberries! Fluffy and light like you want pancakes to be. I had Dave's Mess. Pretty much what you would expect a mess to be! Everything in the kitchen chopped up in mixed with two fluffy scrambled eggs topped with yummy gravy. If you have a smaller appetite this could easily be split.
The food was great..the service was friendly, fast and charming...what more could you want for a fair price!

I read that the food was great here, and it still was beyond our expectations I have never in my life had clam chowder this good and the other dishes passing by as we ate had us drooling

Friendly wait staff, great food (chicken fried steak was delicious) and a short wait, even with a party of five. Lots of outdoor seating and a parking lot.

This is one of our go to breakfast spots in Pismo.
