Chinelo Restaurant

Chinelo is excellent. I ordered carne asada street tacos and iced tea. There was no chunks of fat, the flavor was excellent. There was cilantro and onions with a avacado sauce on it too. Best avacado sauce anywhere. Not watery and blended smooth. It was similar to guacamole in texture. We also got a side of rice that was very flavorful. The avacado sauce is so good we ordered a pint to go home with. We live in the Los Angeles area. But will be coming back again. The price was very reasonable too.

I almost never write reviews. Am a local. Found the food homemade, very good, and with a artful interpretation of traditional. Mole, very chocolatey and rich. Will be back.

Found a new place to visit at Morrow Bay. Great food and service, sidewalk dining.

Great food. They really make their meats with delicious attentiveness. Burritos, enchiladas, and more. Big portions, and super friendly service as well. Shady outside seating makes for a pleasant covid dining out experience, and of course around here the parking is easy.

Friendly staff and a good selection of food. We'll definitely go back.
