So my sister and I come down to San Mateo to spend the weekend with our Uncle about once a month, and a few month's back we had seen Sam's Italian Sandwich shop, well being Italian we were finally able to catch it open, and we decided on the Sam's special and the Meatball sub. We brought them home to share with our Uncle and the Sam's special was absolutely delicious. But what a disappointment our meatball sandwich was, when I went to cut it into 3 pieces I was shocked when I cut the end and there was 3 1/2" of empty bread. So basically 1 of us was SOL!! A cup of soup would be good with that useless hunk of bread though. The food did taste absolutely delicious, but I feel we were ripped off. I will try it again next time we come down, and hope its not like that again.
