“I found a cute Japanese oden pop-up in the Bay Area, but it's only open until October. Suddenly remembered the childhood joy of eating hot pot skewers from street vendors and couldn't resist the temptation! Excitedly drove there with my buddies. The shop's sign is a black and white circle , which took me a moment to spot. Inside, there's a large bar area with a great atmosphere, but not many seats. I went on a Sunday and waited for about 15 minutes. 🌟 They offer set menus and à la carte options. You can also mix and match. I went for all à la carte since the set included rice and I wanted udon noodles. 🌟 Vegetables: ▫️ Radish (a must-have for hot pot) ▫️ Mochi (outer layer is tofu skin, inside is mochi, quite fun) ▫️ Buttered potatoes (butter-fried potatoes with mayo, a pub-style dish) 🌟 Meat: ▫️ Pork sausages (a must-order, the highlight!) ▫️ Beef tongue (decent) ▫️ Beef tendon (tender and melts in the mouth) ▫️ Chicken wings (not recommended, has a chicken odor) ▫️ Soft-boiled egg (quite good!) 🌟 Seafood: ▫️ Cod puffs (delicious, reminiscent of tamago-yaki) 🌟 Sides: ▫️ Udon noodles (I skipped the set menu for this bowl of noodles! They're chewy, and I finished the soup too) ▫️ Chicken karaage (with mayo, but it's average, not recommended) Two people spent a little over $80. Set menus are slightly cheaper. Personally, I found it a lot of fun. It's been a while since I had oden and this was a good experience! It feels like a mix of fine dining without the high cost!”

“I was craving Chinese braised beef noodles and came across this shop on Google maps. It’s fairly new restaurant, but already very popular place. When I went in around 5:40PM on Saturday the store was filling up, and by the time we were leaving there where people waiting for tables. It’s fairly a large dining area if I were to guess it seats maybe 50-75(or more?) people. We ordered the spicy House special beef noodle, and the spare rib noodle. Also ordered the shrimp, pork chive and egg dumplings and Xiao long bao. First off the Xiao long bao was very good. Juicy and as I would expect a Xiao long bao should be. Next the noodles. The soup and noodles were very basic as you you would expect at any decent noodle shops. The braised beef was very good, the other meats were not as good as the braised beef. What I’m saying is that if I was to order, I’d only want the braised beef. The soup wasn’t very spicy and I ended up adding more chili oil to it. The dumpling were as I would expect at any decent restaurant. The hardest part is to decide on which one to order. Finally, this place doesn’t serve free tea, However they have selection of tea that you can choose from. I already forgot which tea we ordered, it was good, but I like dumpling places that give you free tea. The restaurant was packed all with Asian people, mostly Chinese, It must be a good sign of quality of the food they serve there. Updates menu prices added with my photos. Friendly staff, plenty parking, I would go back when I crave noodles and dumplings as it is fairly close to my family’s home.”

“The rice cake dish was pretty good, but the beef bone noodle soup was the problem, the bones looked and tasted like it was used to cook broth before so the meat didn’t have much flavor, and the meat on the bone wasn’t as tender as I thought it would be. But the workers are nice and service is good”

“Super cute place for brunch. THE BEST quiches, a must try when you visit. Easy ordering method and you pay beforehand so you can leave at your leisure. Self serve water near the back in cute mason jars. I would rate the food about average brunch food, french toast is pretty good and the sandwiches are too. Only thing is some of the sandwiches are stuffed with a lot so it’s hard to bite through. The place can get crowded near lunch time.”

“Oysters Happy Hour daily 4-6pm. $1 per oysters. Check with server on what's on the $1 deal, they have selected oysters that are offered at that price. Don't think they are the best oysters. Found some to taste off and they look dehydrated (dry). Guess the price made up the moderate quality oysters, as long as they don't mess up the tummy. Tried the calamaris (2/5), weirdest tasting calamari. Saw they offered like bowls on their menu, might consider coming back to give them another try when I'm having the poke bowl craving.”

“I ordered via DoorDash for a group of 10 people and we were extremely satisfied with our açaí bowls. We all chose to build our own bowls. The customization options are plentiful and all delicious. They traveled well and felt reasonably priced considering how much food we got!”

“This is a pretty legit Turkish pide, lahmacun, and kebab place. Everything came straight out of the oven so it was fresh and hot to the touch. The lahmacun (thin pizza thingys) was steaming when we received it and the pide (thick Turkish pizza) was still glistening with butter and the cheese oozing out of its sides. We also tried the Erbil kebab and it was flavorful and full of spices. Great stuff!”

“Great food and super friendly staff. We really enjoyed the Seafood Kebab and the Gyros Combo Platter. The food is nicely arranged on the plate, fresh and super yummy. And we got a Turkish tea afterwards on the house. We'll definitely go back.”

“We were looking for a light breakfast that felt healthier and stumbled upon Sweet Citrus inside the local Burlingame Market grocery store on Broadway. Fantastic curated selection of smoothies, juices, bowls, and Greek yogurts. We got the “Island Vibez” açaí bowl and “Sweet Tooth” smoothie and both are delicious. Island vibez is a burst of flavors that had me wondering “why can’t all açaí bowls be like this?” Fruits are fresh and sweet and the housemade coconut almond butter they put in it is otherworldly. The menu is huge, and if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can always create your own smoothie so they make sure to have something for everybody. There are a few tables outside where you can sit and drink/eat your bowls if the weather is nice. Sweet Citrus stops making drinks at 6:30p everyday, presumably so that the staff can tidy the kitchen in the last 90 minutes before the grocery store closes. Nice, polite staff. Thanks so much. Looking forward to coming back and supporting this small business.”

“I’m so impressed with the hospitable service I received. I called to ask if they had caldo de pollo, which they have available everyday! They were closing in 6 minutes and it was going to take me 9 minutes to get there. The young lady on the phone reassured me that it was okay to come still and that she would get the soup ready. The soup is delicious accompanied with a half avocado, tortillas, rice, and salsa verde to put in the soup. I’m going back and support this restaurant! :)”

“I just finished eating about four minutes ago and I’ve got massive whiplash from the flavor explosion I just experienced. This is the first time I’ve ever tried Korean style corn dogs in general and I wasn’t disappointed. Excellent quality ingredients, fair price, it was just an all around fantastic experience.”
