Curry Hyuga

This is a new Japanese Curry house that opened on Broadway, Burlingame right around the time Covid19 shelter-in-place started across Bay Area. Thought of trying them after a considerable buzz on social media about the hearty curry they have been offering for takeout and delivery. So we got two curries delivered - chicken karaage and the classic pork katsu curry. The curry base is the same for both and comes with a side of cabbage and rice. The taste is good and the portion size is perfect for one person. Definitely looking to visit in person once that's possible.

The curry and the food reminded me of my trip to Japan. If you are in the area definitely worth trying if you are craving authentic Japanese food.

Good people and great curry! Really stoked to have Japanese curry closer to home and not have to drive to the city. Even better that it tastes like something my mom used to make back in Okinawa! We don't really have many options for good Japanese curry in the bay so this really fills the void. Def worth checking out.
