    Good local spot for some Japanese food. Prices are reasonable and food is well prepared.
    This is a small restaurant so I would suggest arriving either before or after prime dining hours.

    Best japanese food in the Bay Area hands down. Most affordable too. I always end up spending more than I came to whenever I'm in the area. That's good or bad? I think both...goid for my tummy and bad for my robust figure...????????????

    First time trying Kamameshi and I was blown away by its flavor. Sukiyaki was hearty and big for 2 people. Great decor as well.

    I know the owner and have eaten here many times. On the average, the food was very good to expectations, service is good, and overall fine. On one occasion, my wife got burnt rice with her meal. The other was very bitter sake. Another time, the order was wrong because the waitress had heard incorrectly. Except for those errors, the house is good. You will like it here.
