I come from San Francisco to visit this restaurant as often as I can. I don't drive for any other restaurant, and it is well worth the trip. Amazing food, that beats the big name Burmese restaurants in the city in freshness, flavor, portions and price. The owner is very warm and welcoming. The Samusa soup is otherworldly good, with crisp bits of falafel and samusa, and a complex and satisfying base. This dish is matched by the tea leaf salad. Crunchy and lively, they ferment the tea leaves on site. The freshness makes it tastier than any others I've had. The paratha, the curries, and everything else I have tried is consistently delicious. The owner has just changed the name from Happy Myanmar Cafe. People were passing it up, thinking it was a coffee shop. Same great prices and quality with the same menu. Always people there, but so far no wait to get a table. Get a seat while you can!

Delicious home cooking. Highly recommend the pumpkin and pork curry, okra and egg curry, samosa soup, and tea leaf salad. The tea leaf salad they import the tea from Burma and ferment it in house. We also had a noodle dish which was really good (but I forgot the name..sorry!).

Never had Myanmar food before. Passed this place twice before going in. This is definitely an easy-to-miss place if you just drive through the main road or try to get to the bigger plaza below.

Very tasty food with light spices - finely prepared, fresh and delicate. We went there 4 times in 2 months - a record for us. We love the rainbow salad, tea leaf salad and, our favorite, #7. Many noodle dishes are flavorful and amazing.

Great service. A great little gem missed by many!!
