Koi Palace

Food was good but service was a little slow. One of our dish came well after we had finished. I asked the Waiter and he had to check with the kitchen twice. I asked to cancel but he said it was almost done. Still waited 20 minutes after we were done eating. For an up scale restaurant this will make me think twice about coming back.

Steamed dumplings were top notch. I also had the shrimp in honey cream sauce with walnuts... also delicious. Beautiful restaurant.

Wow, we were blown away by the food. We ordered the following:

5 color soup dumplings - we love the yellow one which is turmeric and crab and the black one which is truffle and squid ink

Vietnamese style crab - crab was huge and super fresh, lightly battered, with a tinge of spiciness

Steamed unknown red fish - we saw the fishes swimming in the tank by the front door, FRESHNESS!!

Tofu and assorted mushrooms - sauce was just right

Beef stew with daikon - the soup was so tasty and the beef was just right.

This place is legit. I would come back again and again and again....

Fresh seafood! We went for dim sum on Sunday after 12 with a party of 4 - the wait was about 50 minutes, so I'd recommend going to the Starbucks nearby. The food is good and filling, large bites. Not that many people bringing dishes around, should order off the menu. On the pricier side as well. I'd recommend for dinner more.

We greatly enjoy our annual experience here at Koi Palace. They've changed the presentation of the soup dumplings but the flavors are still delicious. For that I am grateful. The coffee ribs are favorites too. The push charts weren't that visible but there was a steady flow of great flavorful eye appealing delights. Already looking forward to next year!
