A popular place to eat. You must get there early or get on a wait list. We had a party of three and took about 90 minutes to be seated. Food was pretty good. Lots of meats to try and seafood on the conveyor. You can pay an extra $5 to have the option of the grill. This place is good for a group gathering or family gatherings.

Seapot is a beautiful restaurant. Food was good, we ordered a few of the soups and they were all tasty and rich in flavor. Theres a good variety of sides available for the hot pot, from potstickers to pig blood, crab legs and other seafood items. On top of the regular hot pot we also got the korean barbecue meats, the grill/burner seemed to not work very well, taking forever to cook stuff but eventually it got the job done. Not much to talk about here cause we pretty much do the work, they just provide the protein. The sauce bar has good items to pair up with the foods. We overall had a good experience there but we were frustrated with the flawed reservation process. We had a reservation (which took multiple and multiple attempts to schedule, they never pick up phone website is confusing etc.) that wasn’t honored or appearing on their system when we got there so we had to wait a good while before having an available dining table. Very frustrating considering how hard it was to get the reservation in the first place. Other than that, service was good and friendly. Is a good restaurant option if soup is your thing.

Warning, no RSVP for parties under 6. We had a party of 4 and walked in at 6:30pm on a Friday and had a 2 hour wait. We waited because we were committed after 1 hour hah. We decided to head in around 1.5hrs and order drinks to wait. This is a huge space, but had really slippery floors. I was concerned with slipping every time I got up to grab side or go to the bathroom.

Love that this spot was AYCE and had individual hotpot with a side grill for bbq. The conveyor belt was fun but not many options going around as the San Mateo location had. They definitely need to put out more of those fish roe options as those came out once every so often. The meat quality was decent but not the best. Service was also really slow. We put in an hour and still didn’t get it for over 30mins and when we asked they reloaded our order.. a few minutes later they brought it out with double the amount. It was very messy communication and slow. Otherwise this spot could use some improvements with their cleanliness (the floors), meat quality, and service attentiveness. Overall costed around $55 per person.

Seapot was one of our faves back then, but San Mateo is a bit of a drive now. So glad they opened a new location in Daly City with a kbbq add-on!

It’s Saturday so it’s quite busy, but they have a nice waiting area for people to chill and even watch a movie. Anyway, we waited for an hour and 20 mins and there was a bit of mishap with seating, but that’s ok. The hostess was really nice and friendly and the server assigned to us, Edmund, was very accommodating, friendly, and efficient.

The food was great and delicious! There were 7-8 soup based you could choose from and add a Kbbq option for $5/pp. Although it’s lunch, the pricing was for dinner so we could get the options only available during dinner such as oyster, galbi, angus beef. The conveyor belt offered so much options as well from vegetables, meatballs, fishballs, noodles, to seafood. The sauce station was also excellent. This was probably the most options I’ve seen in any hotpot place. There were kimchi, peanuts, fishcake, eggs, and fruits available.

The only thing I could think of as an area of improvement was the soup refills and kbbq grill replacement. We had to ask but again, they were more than happy to do it.

Seapot Daly City just opened on Thursday. They’re still figuring out their rhythm and the wait staff were definitely hustling & bustling. Our waitress did a great job checking in on our table to see if we need ti add more meats to the order. The other staff consistently came to pick up empty plates. Overall, good experience.
