Love that it's dog friendly. The chowder was really good. Also really liked the crab melt. They are pretty well protected from the wind but when we went it was still pretty cold. They also have separate reservations indoors and outdoors.
Here for valentines and the whole experience from the food to the live music was outstanding! I was expecting to be very critical based on some reviews I read before we went. As soon as I got there, the atmosphere was so pleasant that I opened my mind. I ordered the grilled salmon and and it was prepared to perfection! Best salmon I’ve ever had. My wife had the fillet mignon, that too was superb! The whole crowd there was very engaged and the gentleman playing the piano was extremely talented and the music was amazing. The whole crowd there was very upbeat! The gentleman playing the piano extremely talented the music was amazing! Wonderful atmosphere! I’ll tell my family and friends about this establishment.

When the weather is right, there is almost nowhere in the world as lovely as Half Moon Bay, and the Miramar is in the thick of it all. The patio is a super chill place to take your well behaved dog and enjoy a Sunday brunch. Get there early (e.g. 11:30), or you could be in for a wait
Great service, amazing sunset view. Dogs are allowed on the patio. They even brought a water bowl out! The clam chowder, the shrimp appetizer and the cheesy, garlic bread were great! The wine by the glass selection was plentiful. The ladies bathroom was clean. However, the artichoke cake, fresh artichoke appetizer, and the fish n' chips were just ok.
This restaurant has a great, warm, family atmosphere. The menu also tells you more about the building's history during prohibition which lends to the warm feeling of the place. We went for dinner and there was a piano player who plays fairly regularly. He plays classical, rock music, pop music, everything (Bohemian Rhapsody was played at some point). Seafood chowder is good. The entrees were standard seafront restaurant fare, hearty and good. Not hipster/ or that adventurous, but I think that's a good thing here.
