“We stopped by there after watching the king tide from safe distance and walking hills. Rain started pouring. Waited about 15 minutes to get a table. We were ok to wait. They let us wait a table inside. The place has cute decorations. We ordered seafood stew, salmon tacos, ahi tuna salad, fish, and chips. I wish my salad had little bit more, but the taste was great. Service was good and friendly. I would live to go back when nicer weather next time.”

“Was very cozy, comfortable place to stay at. The rooms were big had sinks, fireplace. Dinning area with large TV. Had a sofa with a balcony. You could see the beautiful Marina across the road. They had free parking and no resort fees. That was huge plus. Restaurants in walking distance.”

“Three of us had dinner on the sidewalk patio. The service was good the food was excellent. Half moon bay has several very good Italian restaurants but this one was exceptional tonight. The beet salad is a good example of taking a classic dish and making it exceptional. The chef did this on most of the dishes we ordered. Even the bruschetta was a fresh riff on a classic dish. The meal was pricey at $75 per person. The quality of the food was great and the presentation was excellent”

“Eight of us had dinner and we all enjoyed our meal. The diversity of the menu was very good with a broad enough selection to meet most diner’s needs. We found the presentation to be the best sushi serving aesthetic we have had frankly the food was as good to look at as it was to eat. While the service was not fast the speed was acceptable. Our group had two areas which they could work on: 1) the staff was a little clueless on what to serve young children, this of course will be an easy fix when they study the options. 2) the order taking and food delivery was a little bit disorganized. Both of these issues are minor and I would recommend this as the best Japanese food on the coast. We paid $56 per person but nobody ever said sushi is cheap.”

“Excellent product! I had my reservations about a sushi restaurant next to a discount cigar store, but the ratings drew me in. I could not have been more pleased! We ordered 3 rolls, one was a special order. The fish was fresh. The tempura shrimp was hot and cooked perfectly. Nothing was drowned in sauce (as is the case with other places). It was a perfect, simple experience. The food was the highlight and the service, flatware, and presentation all augmented it. Great price for the Quality of product.”

“The experience here was not bad but the employee is supposed to refer customers to products in the store. I asked the store clerk if they carry the item I was seeking and he said no. I searched around and actually found that item in the store. I took it to the cash register but the cash register was not operating correctly. So to make a short story even shorter I just left without be able to buy anything.”

“Was pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of ingredients. Large pizza was able to feed and fill four hungry teenagers, and the pizza itself was well priced (around 35$ - 37$). Only reason we were surprised by the paycheck is due to the 4$ dollar sparkling water mineral water. Overall, we had a positive experience and fully enjoyed our pie. Keep this standard of quality, pricing, and service and this establishment will soon be a local favorite. It even has potential to be a decent hangout spot for the highschoolers if if efforts were made to make the place more homey. Great pizza, would recommend.”
