Cameron's Pub & Restaurant

Good bar food, reasonable prices. Had their Sunday special prime rib sandwich, a burger & fish N chips. Each of us agreed that the food was good. Also had the onion ring tower, tasty with the BBQ sauce. Overall I would heartily recommend Cameron's pub.

Black and Tan was good, and the service was good. The fish and chips were unimpressive. Were I am more comfortable with returning food I would’ve sent them back. Tiny pieces of fish deep-fried for way too long.

This place is a sight to see while in the area, this was our first visit to Half Moon Bay and to Cameron’s Pub, the restaurant is full of wonderful eye catching pictures, memorabilia and fun knick knacks. The service was good, we did feel bad for the waitress there she was running back and fourth inside and out with little to no help from anyone else, it wasn’t busy when we got there for lunch today, but started picking up and she was just running back and fourth. Nevertheless she was super friendlt and upbeat even though she was working her tail off. We had the Sampler appetizer and a couple beer , Boddington’s for me and my husband had the One Eyed Shut IPA to start with. We sat back and took our time checking out the huge menu and the story of this quirky place which is really neat and something we always enjoy when visiting new places. The menu by the way is so great, I loved the illustrations and extra detail put into their menu, it was great to look at. For our meals I had the English Pastie that came with a choice of salad or potato I chose mashed potatoes and it also came with a couple rolls. My husband had the New Englad Seafood Bake and he chose a baked potato. Our food tasted really good, the flavor was there and not under/over salted, just right. We did enjoy this place and the food, the reason we’re rating so low is because the lack of help this poor waitress had/has. To our surprise we did see Cameron there while we were dining and he seemed unfriendly and offered no help to this poor woman serving everyone. You would think someone who is so famour for this restaurant and being popular in the are would make his way rounds to everyone in his place, but nothing. Not even a friendly hello. But even though we’re rating so low its not towards our waitress she was great, on top of everyone and doing everything. We appreciate the friendliness from her and the great service provided!

Smashing British pub right here on the California coast. The decor is eclectic with objects of humer all around, great for families and adult parties alike. The menu is vast with a variety of different options, of course British fare is in there if you need your shepherd's pie or bangers. large selection of brews, wines, and cocktails as well. Cheers!

I visited in Feb 2018. I love the atmosphere and the food here. Good portions, reasonable price. It was worth the out-of-route miles ???? I ordered the shepherd’s pie and it was amazing!
