Food is good, but the wait for the food is too long imo

I come here mostly for Taco Tuesdays and they are pretty consistent each time. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes even during dinner times.

Only issue is lately some of the salsas and limes don't get refilled and when you ask, they just give you a small portion instead of refilling the whole thing.

Not a Rubio's fan but I was hungry and it was right there. Today around 12:45 P.M., was a different day at Rubio's as it was a "training day" for several employees. mainly teens. The manager on duty (I'm presuming) greeted folks in line, and informed everyone that the employees were undergoing "training" and to please excuse the slow up. It was said: "you're important we'll be with you as soon as possible, thanks for your patience" I could tell some folks in line at the beginning of her speech looked at their phones, almost turned away but her tone of voice made these folks stay in line and order. Upon completion of each order she expressed her gratitude for the patience.
Mad kudos to her, she really went beyond to set a tempo and vibe for her store, employees, and the customers. It matters when you explain, it matters when kindness is used, it matters when humanity is displayed with such compassion like this. She cares about her employees, and that also matters! Promote her to networking or something, she's a light!

And that Coastal grilled chicken salad is pretty good! Go a lighter on the sauce, and add a little hot sauce- winner winner, chicken lunch!
