“Amazing breakfast on our way to Stanford. We were lucky enough to score a table on the terrace on a Sunday Morning. What was meant to be a quick stop turned into 90 minutes of pure joy. All the staff are exceptional. Friendly, efficient and just great to be around. Wide choice of menu items, really something for everyone I'd say. Food came quick and was delicious. Great juices and coffee as well. We will be back next time we are in the area.”

“After trying it for the first time, Robin is now my favorite omakase restaurant in the Bay area, beating the likes of Michelin star sushi restaurants. The omakase experience at Robin is an odyssey of flavor and hospitality. Robin isn't just a sushi restaurant; it's an experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff exuded genuine enthusiasm and attentiveness, ensuring every detail of our evening was perfect. Dim lighting, modern interior inspired by the Japanese culture and upbeat music - it all complimented our omakase experience. The true highlight was the omakase itself, meticulously crafted by our talented Chef Andrew. Each piece was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the freshest and most exquisite ingredients. The omakase experience at Robin is unique because you can pick the price for your omakase experience, and it can range anywhere between $109-$209. The base $109 experience includes 13 courses (each course is either a cold dish or a piece of nigiri). If you are going later in the night, then there is more flexibility, and you can try to go for an even more expensive omakase experience. We started with a lower price omakase experience and switched to a higher priced experience after realizing how delicious every course was. Sweet, savory, buttery, creamy, sour, zesty, refreshing, fruity, umami, smoky - you'll experience all these flavors and more throughout your omakase experience. Each piece of sushi was a piece of art that combined complex flavors, aromas, and unique ingredients in a very well-balanced and artistic way. The preparation and the presentation of each item was top notch. Every cut of the fish was fresh and juicy. Our chef Andrew not only combined flavors with precision but also presented each piece with stunning visual appeal. The textures were a delightful exploration, from the melt-in-your-mouth tenderness of the cod to the satisfying crunch of the nuts in some of the dishes. The dessert was the cherry on top - rich in flavors and well executed in every aspect. Our chef also explained each dish with detail and answered our questions with genuine interest. The staff also truly elevated the experience. They were very attentive and accommodating, adjusting the omakase to our preferences and ensuring we had a truly unforgettable evening. The omakase experience at Robin is a testament to the power of fresh ingredients, skilled craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality. Without a doubt, this is a 5-star experience that deserves the highest praise. I can't wait to return and embark on another flavor odyssey. Honestly, I can eat here every day for the rest of my life and not complain once.”

“Can’t wait to return! Absolutely perfect meal from start to finish. Excellent service for having just opened. Tried the chopped salad, vongole en crosta, lasagna, mushroom salsiccia pizza and the octopus. All fantastic. Fun selection of both cocktails and wines. The vibe is lively and warm inside and out. We sat on the patio til after 10pm and never needed a jacket the heaters were so cozy. 100% worth the drive from the city.”

“Been here twice and loved it both times. Garlic noodles are delicious. The salad is amazing and everything else we ate. Can remember all the names of the dishes. See my photos. You can park on El Camino, on the side street in the back and I believe there is also underground parking.”

“The moment you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted with a sleek and stylish ambiance with a buzzy and energetic atmosphere. The restaurant is designed to evoke an old-world Japanese feel, with warm lighting, wooden accents, and a minimalist aesthetic. The spacious dining area provides ample room for both intimate gatherings and larger groups. The service at Drunken Monk was amazing - the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I loved everything about this meal from beginning to end.”

“In this shop you will find fresh food, and top quality products, its service is fast and friendly, open 7 days a week; It has a large parking lot. If you pass through Menlo Park and want to try a little piece of Mexico, come in and enjoy their burritos, meat in green sauce, carbits, pork rinds, avocados!”

“Jason's is back with an updated look. They just reopened last week. There's still a good selection of items. Breakfast is available all day. The portions were generous. It was a good first visit back. Edit: came back a second time, and this time I was told they were closing in 5 minutes. I came earlier than I came last week. Frustrating.”

“Came here the first time to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The dishes were flavorful. Ordered the chicken with snow peas and vegetables and prawns with mixed vegetables. Low carb today. Vegetables chicken and shrimp were very fresh, vegetables were very fresh and crisp. The thing about Excellent Chinese food is the high heat in the wok. Growing up with good Chinese food this place definitely hit the mark. Service was fantastic. Our dishes were ordered up and served quickly and the staff was extremely friendly. It’s got a very nice bar to meet up with friends at after work. There is a parking plaza behind the building. Great place to catch dinner before your concert show at the Guild Theater across the street.”

“Had a great meal here - ordered the vegetable samosas and the chicken biriyani and both were excellent. I appreciated on the biriyani they asked for spice level- my parents don’t handle spice well so look forward to taking them sometime so they can enjoy too. The service was attentive and the portions were a great value; would eat here again or order takeout (I sat near the front and they seemed to have an efficient system for takeaways).”

“Looked like it would be an authentic NY bagel but didn’t taste like it. I asked for the bagel to be toasted and it didn’t look or taste like it. The smoked salmon was good. The best part was the fresh squeezed orange juice. The cost for both was $16! Way too expensive.”

“This was my first time dining at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the salmon toast which was perfectly seasoned and topped with delicate herbs, thinly sliced red onions and radishes atop creamy cream cheese. My server, Jenna, was professional and friendly and I had the delight to meet the chef, Nikolai. Nikolai treated us to the bread pudding and it was so good.”

“Soleska Market is the best Latino market in Menlo Park we have been going to this store for more than 10 years and it is always, clean, the staff is really friendly and polite (something you don’t see a lot nowadays). We appreciate that everything is neatly stocked even their fruits and vegetables, and that you can see a price for everything display, also they have multiple scales in and outside of the store so no surprises when you get to the register. The meat department is always clean and the meat is always fresh. The gentleman there are always friendly and ready to help, they wash their hands and change gloves to help different customers. Now with COVID in our life’s the store has made the necessary arrangements for customers and staff to be safe. All the staff wears their face mask properly and there are signs all over the store with information for customers to wear their mask properly and with facts of how COVID is spread and how to prevent it. We have moved further away from the store but honestly I don’t mind the drive to get the best produce, meat and customer service in the area.”
