Jason Cafe

Good for breakfast but skip lunch. I had a Philadelphia cheese steak and cheese was not melted and only had copped up green bell peppers and meat! Awful!!!

So good to see this Menlo Park classic back - with high quality pancakes, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and shiny new bathrooms :)

After a multi-year closure while apartment buildings were constructed, the famous Jason's Cafe (now J Cafe according to the menu) is now back online. In most senses everything is the same as what it was - the food menu looks identical to the old one, the layout and configuration remain unchanged and the quality of the food is solid. The only real change is an upgrade of the interior and the changes to the front seating area that is now more secure and well-built. I'll be back to doing my weekly Saturday breakfast there going forward - and maybe even a sneaky Friday breakfast if I have a quiet day.

Jason's is back with an updated look. They just reopened last week. There's still a good selection of items. Breakfast is available all day. The portions were generous. It was a good first visit back.

Edit: came back a second time, and this time I was told they were closing in 5 minutes. I came earlier than I came last week. Frustrating.

my daughter and I just had breakfast me Denver omelet her steak!! both were awesome large portions and very homemade. super friendly staff! will be back
