The food was plentiful and tastey. At first it was empty than jam packed. The server was abrupt but efficient. Peking duck was great but fatty.
A little too uneven to be superb, but generally excellent dim sum. Make sure to come early to beat the rush, both for parking at the lot across the street as well as for the tables inside.
Of course, one drawback of coming super early is that the kitchen and the carts aren't running at full output yet, so it's a double-edge sword (to use the terrible cliche...).
My uncle usually has his company Holiday Party here. The Seafood banquet is always amazing (even though my kids are allergic). Started with lobster fruit salad; next came elephant clam with chives; moved into a stuffed seafood shell; went on to fried crab; there was tender barbecue beef; salted chicken; a special fried rice... so much food. You have to save room for the desserts as they are fresh baked or authentic. The mango pudding had mango chunks... at least most bowls did!
Really good experience there for dinner tonight. Good service, they weren't crazy busy like they usually are. Ordered the Peking duck, dried scallops, egg whites and cilantro fried rice and the house special pan fried noodles. Everything was very good. Pretty decent serving sizes, came back with leftovers even after over eating.
