The food was alright nothing to rave about
Decent Japanese restaurant with plenty of parking spots.
This is my 2nd visit to this place. The first visit was when we were stranded due to a massive delay on Caltrain. This time we drove, so it was a more pleasant experience/mood.
They have plenty of parking lots around which is fantastic. Be careful not to park in the Peter's Cafe parking lot which has a huge lot just for its customers.
For a tiny restaurant that is outside of the main Millbrae Downtown, it was fairly crowded on a Friday night! More than 50% of the tables were filled which is always a good sign.
We ordered a Mango Spider Roll, Fried Octopus and a Chirashi. The Chirashi is the worst Chirashi we ever had, nothing resembling the many Chirashi and definitely way off the real taste. It came with a salad and soup which were way better than the main dish.
The Mango Roll and Fried Octopus saved the day. Otherwise we would have a wasted calories night! Both tasted really yummy and the portion was good for its price.
Service is friendly and prompt for the most part except when requesting and processing of payment.
Many other customers were having their shabu shabu, perhaps it might be something I will try the next time we visit.
Food is ok. The sushi is a little strange, with a lot of fried stuff in it, so not so traditional. Service is ok. Easy to park right outside. Price is reasonable.
Delicious! A little slow on the service, but they are pretty new.
