Very cute tea shop. Made a reservation for 2 at 11am on a Friday. There seems to be plenty of tables at that time if you decide to walk in.

Ordered the high tea for 1 (myself). Really good. My mom got the Me tea. The food and tea orders are the same as Lovejoys in SF. The only difference is that it’s a different location and there is no separate antique shop to buy afternoon tea dishware and whatnot across the street. A good location for those who live in the Peninsula area.

We also got the sausage rolls al a carte but it was not as good as I have hoped. It was my mom’s birthday and it was so sweet of them to give her one petite four for free!

I thoroughly enjoyed my tea room experience here at Lovey's. The ambience was quaint, and the queen's tea was delicious, as expected.

I've been to the other LoveJoy Tea Rooms in San Francisco and Redwood City, but this one felt a little more cozy and definitely a lot quieter with just about six tables inside. It made the experience more pleasant and enjoyable.

Wonderful experience! Five stars for the food quality and very friendly service. The place is easy to find parking ( check out the backside of the store) and the wait wasn’t too bad after 2PM on weekend.

    First timer tips:

    - Reserve a spot a couple weeks at least, or walk-in in the late afternoon.

    - Expect a very cozy place: your wait can be long since there’s about 5 tables with 4 small ones and one large shared table.

    - Must try their scones: The scones are not the hardening style, so soft and one of a kind. It has the Devon cream that tastes light and fluffy.

    - How to order: look at the menu left panel says “Tea Services” the name can be confusing but ignore all the names and look at it as combo 1,2,3. The “Cream”, “Savory”, “Me” are good for one person, and you can pair with sandwiches from the middle roll, and choose your team from the back menu.

    What surprised me:
Their “Vanilla Green”, was amazing. I am Asian and the scent of this green tea is lovely and it can pair with milk and taste heavenly.

I can’t wait to be back, and I will have no hesitation to recommend Lovey to all my friends and family!

A lovely tea experience, with many choices and options, including at least a dozen different tea sandwiches, the best scones I've eaten outside of England, luscious crumpets, petit fours, and much more. And of course, an extensive choice of teas. The owners are kind and service is excellent. Reservations highly recommended. One thing to note: the restroom is outside and down a flight of stairs.
