“First of all, I'm Chinese, born in China. This is one of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant you can find in the bay area. That includes all the Chinese restaurant in ChinaTown. Most of the menu item probably doesn't strike you as the typical Chinese food but that's because they're actual food that Chinese people make at home. Not the fake American sweet and sour pork stuff. “We were her visiting from So Cal and found this awesome place. They have parking in the back so don't go searching the street forever. The pho is made the right way; The bone broth is boiled for days and has really amazing flavors. The chicken wings were somehow juicy and crunchy and super flavorful. If you want real legitimate Vietnamese food you will find it here and the price is right considering the location, quality of ingredients and the amount of preparation that goes into Vietnamese food.”

“My cousins from out of town came to visit and we had a huge group of 9. We called ahead of time, but they said walk in is okay. We showed up, it was busy, but they made it happen for us. Alright - The staff is super friendly, absolutely nice. They were also attentive, but not annoying. Price is mild. Food is absolutely great! I had the bulgogi both chicken and short ribs.. The place isn't super big and can get busy. Parking can be along the street or behind the building, but the place is a food spot among other things, so it can get busy.”

Their foods are fresh and taste definitely above average Chinese restaurant I have been to. The crab salad is my favorite. The garlic noodle with the live whole crab is absolutely amazing. Fort house who live the taste of garlic in dish is a must try. The roast lamb is good too. The texture of the meat is great, very soft and delicious. Service is ok since they only have one server when I came. Overall highly recommend!”

“It just opened so they don't have their liquor license yet. We were bummed not to have a glass of wine with dinner. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy but the standout is the food. The menu had a good variety but we settled on the duck breast and lobster pasta. The duck was perfectly cooked. The sweet potato mash underneath was unlike nothing wed ever had. It was very light and very flavorful. The plate was heated too which was a nice touch to make all the flavors meld perfectly. The lobster pasta was good but much larger than I expected. There was huge portion of lobster - probably over ten ounces. We finished with the bread pudding for dessert. It was a little small but perfectly executed. We will be back!!”

The disappointing part was the waitress was not attentive to me and my guest throughout the stay. It was only at her convenience. We waited 12min till we flagged her down. It was not crowded at all. I felt that we was neglected because we are not Filipino. Customer service makes a big impact of the experience. I am willing to try again at a later time. To see if it's a one time experience.”

In my opinion they were understaffed for a busy week day lunch crowd and looked as if the employees were use to it. There was no manager in site. I will go again as well as recommend to others.”
