Came here last night to pick up some sushi grade fish for my homemade sushi date. As soon as I entered, the two women at the front ensured I was attended to. They were helpful in ensuring I had everything I needed including wasabi and ginger!
We eat at Cheesecake Factory whenever we travel because the chain is very good with food allergies. This San Mateo location was the best one we've ever been to (both coasts and everywhere in-between). The manager on duty the night we were there, a gentleman with a mustache, is obviously talented at what he does because everything, from start to finish was perfect. All of the employees were exceptional and seemed happy to be there. Most importantly, the manager was fantastic at handling our child's allergies. We appreciate the whole staff being so terrific and especially the manager who went above and beyond.
Came here for lunch after an appointment. We were able to sit right away. We ordered the Bacon Bacon Cheeseburger, Stuffed Cheeseburger and Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Everything was good. All burgers cooked perfectly as requested and the chicken cooked perfectly as well. We did order cheesecake to go since we were full. We will be back.
I would love to give cheesecake a five star but unfortunately the quality has gone down. They got rid of snickers cheesecake which is one of my favorites. It’s a hit or miss honestly I came for breakfast one weekend and it was awful but came for Super Bowl Sunday and the food was pretty good. We continue to come here because we actually love the bread and seasonal items; Pumpkin cheesecake and the artichoke appetizer.
Had to wait 30min to b seated after lunch hour on a week day. Once we were seated, sevice was good & food was good but could have been a lesser price. Complementary bread was very delicious. This is a very popular place to eat, but also very pricey. I have never been disappointed w/any of their cheesecake slices, and they have many to choose from.
