“Not a lot of food selection but almost every single item is so tasty! Reserve beforehand is easy and they do get a line at peak dinner hour. Highly recommend the scallop one. The otoro one has cilantro so do watch out if you don’t like cilantro”

“At first, I thought we would have Indochinese cuisine, but it turned out to be Indian-Nepali. The food was good nonetheless. The store gave off a cozy and warm feeling even though the restaurant was small. The staff were nice and friendly. The food was good. It was my first time eating the Nepali cuisine, but the dishes were up to my taste buds. My favorite out of all the dishes would be their steamed paneer momo. It tasted really good. If I returned, I would order it again. The second dish I liked would be chicken manchurian. It tasted quite similar to sweet & sour chicken in a Chinese restaurant, but the taste was not really the same. It was delicious nonetheless. The other dishes were up to par. We ordered one shrimp biryani, one lamb curry, plain naan and masala chai.”

“It’s very pricey here, but it’s really good! Came to about $27 per person after tax and tip, but we were full. Very conveniently located on the outskirts of downtown San Mateo. You order from an app and the food comes pretty quickly. They didn’t have the fried buns because they ran out of stock, which was very disappointing because they make those really well. However. that made us try the pan, fried beef cake as a substitute, which turned out to be extremely good!! XLB are standard staples and the braised beef noodles soup warms you up in the winter. The chicken potstickers are also really good. By the way, Dough Zone is a chain. There are a few of them in the Bay Area. And this one in San Mateo is way better than the one in San Jose.”

“I drove past this so many times I had to check it out. My wife and I ordered one of each tostada and we were not disappointed. Great ceviche style seafood. We will definitely be going back again. I want to order a party tray soon.”

“One of the better breakfast/brunch places we've tried. The items that we ordered were delicious and tasty....except the nutella crepe, which was nothing different from many other good places. Prices are pretty much similar to many other quality breakfast/brunch restaurants. Great friendly and attentive service from staff. Of note, the displayed items are missing paprika so if you don't want it on, let them know ahead during ordering....ie, the morning breakfast croissant. I enjoyed the infused jasmine tea a lot and would recommend for those that love a great jasmine green tea. We would return if next time in the area.”

“A quaint and clean Izakaya with some indoor seating. Ordering was online (QR Code) and relatively painless. Skewers were flavorful and I liked the addition of mayo to several of them. The Gyoza were also quite yummy. However, I didn’t see too many beer selections, but that may be due to them opening recently. The service was great, my waiter and waitress were both very friendly and checked in regularly, making sure that I had no questions about the menu.”

“Amazing food, amazing service and everyone has amazing hair! Makes sense considering the parent company. We were a little skeptical of fusion restaurants but they really do it well here. Everything was absolutely delish and the presentation was 10/10. Can't wait to come back”

“Walked into Noshery and found this gem from Nashville! Authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi’s and bowls. I got the Pork deluxe Banh Mi and my friend got the Vermicelli noodles bowl - both of us loved it! Very helpful staff as well! Strongly recommend!!”

“Oren’s in Burlingame is inside the Noshery location and they have Melt and one or two other food chains. So it is not a stand alone location and the shared kitchen is less than ideal in terms of freshness”

“So to be honest I kinda rather give this place a 2.8. Now keep in mind it’s actually 9 different restaurants in one. As far as the overall building. The seating sucks. The napkins are very waxy and non absorbent. The humus we ordered was very watery and the chicken was rather dry. I also ordered the banh mi hot dog. It may have had carrots and peppers, but didn’t really come across as a banh mi. The polish dog itself was delicious. Although the bun was just not large enough and fell apart half way through my meal. The tots were also good, but the container they came in was just way to small. The top got all smooshed in. And because the small container the spicy Mayo never got to the lower tots. And since the tots themselves were not seasoned it left me with 2/3s of them bland and not worth the calories. If they served them in the master container as the hot dog the Mayo would have been better spread out. Honestly even if they fix those issues I’ll probably never come back. It’s just not good enough for the prices they are charging”

“Needed a quick pick me up for my next half of work day and this HIT the spot I was craving!!!! 👏🏼🥹👌🏼 I ordered the Jasmine Rose Milk Tea with boba and it was refreshingly tasty AND not too sweet! It had a subtle sweetness that I find so rare to find in milk tea.. I could taste the floral notes and the sweetness of the boba with each sip. I could definitely not only taste the freshness of the tea but the organic component of it too. So yummy. Will be back!! Their menu is also super fun and they have so many fun varieties of drinks and lattes too!”

“Have been here a few times throughout the year and they never disappoint! The noodles are very long but absolutely delicious! I am a big fan of the large flat ones. Their broth is a perfect blend of spice and salt and their pork is always cooked perfectly and falls right off the bone! They have very fast service and every worker I’ve encountered has been friendly. They bring our food out within 10 minutes of ordering, even on busy weekends.”

“Service was adequate, but not exceptional. Atmosphere was decent. It was a perfectly fine place for dinner and I enjoyed the meal thoroughly, but not something to write home about. We got six different pizzas so we could share slices. All were prepared nicely, but only two of them really shone. The date pizza (8-9 o'clock in the picture) was a standout.”

“Finally!!!! Great authentic Mexican antojitos in San Mateo!!!! I came here two days in a row because my mouth, my belly and my brain are very happy!!! Trust me, sign up for the points because you'll be back!!! Prefer something healthy, get a juice, green, carrot and other nice available. I wish the place was larger, but the food is amazing!!!”

“The food is good. Service too but is not a full service to your table. So, if you expect enjoy a coffee and refilled at your table is not going to happen. Because you order at front , pay and pick up your food at the front as well. Food is delicious and the portions are descent for the price. They sell chapulines too. Note: no parkin.”

“Delicious pupusas made fresh from scratch! The kitchen is open to the dining area, so you can see the sweethearts making everything on-the-spot. It’s a warm & welcoming atmosphere, there’s a big TV playing music videos, as well as a Jukebox for additional entertainment. It’s a little “hole-in-the-wall” but there’s plenty of available seating. The cortido was good, the salsa was good, their Jalapeño pupusas, chicken pupusas, and chicharrones pupusas are all great, and what’s more- I feel great after dinner. That’s how I know it’s a couple angels in the kitchen, I can stuff my face with ooey gooey warm cheesy happiness and not feel a drop of guilt afterwards. 10/10 highly recommend”

“The succulent, perfectly grilled lamb showcases exceptional flavor and tenderness. Beyond the delectable cuisine, the restaurant's ambiance is elevated by classic Japanese-style decorations, creating a charming and immersive dining atmosphere. The combination of flavorful dishes and tasteful decor makes Prime BBQ a standout choice for those seeking a memorable gastronomic adventure.”

“very cool place. Nice ambience highlighted by large wood panels style seating that gives you the feeling of a little privacy party. Must haves for first time: Pineapple chicken Scallops Chicken gizzards(if you like animal offal) The bread also good.”

“Upscale Mexican restaurant with cute, cozy decor. Prices are not cheap but it's in a mall, so that's normal. Food was delicious! Will have to come back for cocktails. Queso fundido was excellent, tortillas are homemade!”

“New Hunan mifen restaurant in San Mateo. It is interesting that it opens next to another rice noodle restaurant. Parking is a challenge. It was not busy when we arrived but it was filled up fast. You ordered using your phone by scannjng QR code. We ordered dry and soup based noodles. The order was ready quickly. The beef bone meats are tender but not much meat. The noodle soup is clear and not spicy. You just add the soup from the bone if you want spicy. You can enjoy it non spicy or spicy. You get the coriander leaf in front of the open kitchen. The dry noodle is spicy. It doesn't have much meat. Both are yummy, but they are filling. Overall, it is yummy, but I think the beef rip soup has very strong spices, and I got a bit uncomfortable after that for some time.”
