Village Hummus

Love it. They have the best falafel in the San Mateo Area. I eat here on daily basis and I enjoy the great food and awesome service .

I really enjoyed the food. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food I got. Really well season chicken, great hummus, ingredients felt great, fresh. I however just didn’t feel welcomed when I walked in. I felt like the worker was forcing herself to take my order. I understand sometimes you might be tired and most cheapos don’t tip but I don’t like to go to a business and feel I’m not welcomed to be there. Regardless of this I will go back and recommend you do too.

Has kabobs, combination plates with tasty Mediterranean food at reasonable prices in a casual setting. Service is quick and friendly. Parking is on street fronting parking meters and may be scarce as it is in Downtown San Mateo. Do not Park in Draeger's parking lot as they will cite.

Absolute great tasting Falafel, Hummus and Shawarma, and the small-chopped salad is sooooo tasty. Place is rather small but the food portions are big, it's great for a quick lunch or dinner. Prices are very reasonable (pita bread dish is under $10). I asked for my dish to be made a specific way and they had no problem making it in the way I asked with no extra cost. I will be coming back to this place every time I am in the area and recommend it to all my friends.

Hummus was great with some nice options like ground beef on top of the hummus. The chicken was good and you get a lot of food for the price. I may return if I'm in town again, would like to try some other things. The pita bread was great.
