This place is the highlight of my stay each time when I visit San Mateo. As a matter of fact I just ate here today and I felt it was even better than last time, if that's even possible. The place looks very authentic Indian, with beautiful chairs, Indian music and a very beautiful buffet. The food is absolutely mouthwateringly good, a festival for your taste buds, loaded with amazing traditional Indian flavors and great textures. Many meatless options! ???? ???? As well as tasty desserts. I can honestly say this is my ultimate favorite Indian place and I have been to many before.

Pen to sign the credit card didn't work. Disgruntled guy in the picture walked over, tried to use the pen. It didn't work as we said to him. He didn't say anything, threw another pen on the table and walked off. So rude. No thanks. The other waiter apologized for his coworker.

Updated to increase the stars. 1 star really isn't fair for bad service and I feel bad. The food wasn't horrible at all.

Best. Buffet. Ever. Their lamb curry is ON PAR, and they even offer indian milk tea! Their lemon rice, when heated, tastes amazing! I strongly recommend coming here, and with the price tag of only 14 dollars, its a steal!
