Dropped in to this nice brewery tonight for dinner amd a beer or two. Everything we tried was delicious. Bacon Mac n cheese tri-tip salad and tri-tip sandwich. Those that know me know i smoke an amazing tri-tip and these guy made one that is spot on. If you’re in the area you’ve gotta try them, can’t wait to try the one in Santa Barbara.
Good food but the beers are at $8 bucks now ?. Either way still a great spot. Don't miss it if you're in the area.
Always a good time and GREAT beer!!!
Great beer, Pt Conception is excellent, food was very good too. Really nice outdoor seating area. Good vibe will be going back
Leaving this review during Covid-19, and unfortunately I have nothing else to compare to. Right now they're making you buy food with the drinks to get around the loopholes, which is fine. Although on their sign, it looked like that portion of their rules was crossed out, so we thought something different going in.
Whatever. We don't mind paying for some food to get some drinks. So me and my buds each get a meal and a drink.
The beer was excellent. I got the Grapefruit Thyme and loved it, and my friends each loved their beers (I remember they got the Cirtrus Blonde and a few others.
Staff was also really friendly when ordering, which I always appreciate.
So the reason I've knocked off a star is because of the food in conjuction with the price. So, I got the pretzel, which was about $9. The menu called it a Beer Pretzel, which made me assume it came with beer cheese (also because we were at a Brewery). Well, the cheese certainly did not taste like beer cheese (tasted a lot closer to cheap nacho cheese). Dang. Maybe it was my fault for assuming it was beer cheese, but I was pretty disappointed. My friend got the tots, and those also felt pretty average (which is fine, because they at least gave you a lot, but still- $9).
My other friend got the Veggie Burger, which was kinda pricey, but he actually Ioved it. So thats good. Still though, the beers themselves were around $8, so the whole thing was pretty pricey for some okay food and some good beer. Especially if I have to buy food with the beer. But again, I came during Covid-19, so maybe things will be different by the time you read this.
Overall, I like this place and would come again.
Positives:
+ Great Beer
+ Great Staff
+ Great Outdoor Atmosphere
Negatives:
- Menu feels overpriced
