Teddy's By the Sea

WOW! What a nice spot! Has to be the cleanest restaurant I've been in. Good food too!

Great service and food was delicious. Sit on the patio with the locals and have a great dining experience. I would recommend stopping here if your headed up the coast, to grab a bite and stretch your legs. Great little pit stop town.

We asked around town who had the best seafood and consistently were referred to Teddy’s...absolutely the best fish and chips and clam chowder we have ever had. Service was superb, food was fresh, clam chowder was not the white pasty canned version but made fresh that day. We visit Carp monthly and we will make it our new habit to dine at Teddy’s!

We are locals and have come to appreciate Teddy's very much. For us it is taking the place of the Cork Tree as a place to have wine. The prices seem much betterso what you guess. It may be that cork tree had become accustomed to being the only place in town, and allowed its prices to creep up. In any case Teddy's is a far more diverse place. The meals are full-fledged and delicious. The high tables outside up above are very cozy. The actual bar inside is very small but modern and warm. The restaurant itself is cozy and attractive. So all in all this has become one of our new favorites. I recommend it highly.

Only been once so far but this seems like a good addition to Carpinteria. This is the old Nugget Restaurant location and the space remains essentially the same. Limited seating inside, lots of outside seating in the front with string lights and umbrellas. The service was great even though they were completely full. Only had the fish and chips, but it was very good.

Update - third visit...might be the new best restaurant in Carpinteria. Full bar, excellent service, plenty of outdoor seating, the homemade chips are excellent, but the dipping sauce for them is one of the best things you will ever eat. Good monthly specials and desserts.
