Now has the best burgers in southern California, specifically the Santa Barbara location. Huge fan of the double double I like to get it with onions both fresh and grilled. In-N-Out french fries are also very tasty, they make them fresh route to day instead of in the morning or buying frozen french fries. I'm also a huge fan of their secret sauce It's really good on both of burgers and with the french fries. If you're looking for an extra treat the milkshakes are amazing I'm personally huge fan of the strawberry milkshake.

expect longer of lines later in the day, especially on the weekends and and out is very popular with the younger crowd who tends to eat later in the evening.
Parking lot is large, and parking is very easy. I typically prefer to order from my car, and then eat in the parking lot. ordering is very easy from the drive-thru, there's typically attendant who meets you early in the line to start the process.

You wish that they offered bacon on the burgers. I love a good bacon burger.

Do I need to really explain how amazing this.place is? If you are new to California, you might not know. This place has such great burgers, shakes and fries. Try animal style!! Also, if you are gluten free you can order your burger protein style. That means it is wrapped in lettuce!

Right next to the Turnpike Rd entrance/exit of the 101 freeway, this In-N-Out was exactly what we needed to refuel ourselves for the remainder of our drive.

We visited during what staff indicated was a much busier-than-normal dinner rush.

A couple dozen parking spots, (including some very large ones suitable for larger-than-normal vehicles) grace the left side of the restaurant (from perspective of parking lot entrance). They were all full when we arrived shortly prior to 7:30pm and navigated ourselves into the drive through line. As we waited in line, we saw a dozen or so parking spots on the right side of the restaurant as well, many of which were available. On this day, the drive through line ran the entire length of the parking lot when we arrived around 7:30pm. By 8:15pm when we finally made our departure, many more parking spots had become available and the drive through line was at least ten cars shorter.

The food was fantastic. The employees were friendly. The order was accurate.

I did have to request a fork for the animal fries, which I'm chalking up to it being an incredibly hectic dinner rush.

    Typically great In-N-Out experience!

Being from the east coast, I always heard about In-N-Out being considered as a west-coast competitor to Five Guys and Shake Shack. I was really excited to try it on my first visit to California. Eh....it was okay, the patties are really tiny and doesn't have that 'crumbly' texture of a home-made burger that Five Guys has. Fries were pretty dry and plain. The cost however isn't bad and the service was impressive (these are the only two reasons I give it 3 stars and not 2).
