The Habit Burger Grill

Famous Habit. Way better than in-n-out. Albacore, steak sandwiches are good. Sweet potato and green bean fries are good.

I personally like In-n-out. Lacked flavor for their burgers. We ordered veggie burger and regular. Overall average/ok burger. Would not visit again for burgers. No comparison to Red Robin, Steak n shake or in n out. Can add more flavors. However they do offer some peppers which were delicious.

The food is always well cooked and prepared. My husband loves the burgers and I live the salads. Food is prepared to order and fresh. I highly recommend this eatery.

The Habit occupies a happy place in between fast food and the $15 and up hamburger that you would get at a sit down restaurant. For sides, fries are tasty, the onion rings are delicious (ordering half fries and half rings is my personal favorite), and the tempora green beans are excellent. They also have a variety of salads if you are looking for something on the lighter side. This particular location has lots of parking nearby and it's pretty easy to get in and out. If you come at lunch or dinner time, you should expect a little bit of a wait as this is a popular location.

For a hometown burger joint, this place also makes great salads. We ordered the Santa Barbara Cobb and the BBQ Chicken Salad. The grilled chicken breast on both salads stole the show. Great flavor and texture. I loved the combination of tangy BBQ sauce and creamy Ranch dressing along with the crisp vegetables.
